Disney Genie+ service in Walt Disney World Resort.
Sarah, we do not yet know all the “ins and outs” of how Disney Genie+ will work for larger travel parties. However, we do know that Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ will be accessible via the
My Disney Experience mobile app. Disney Genie+ entitlements will be associated to individuals in your travel party — and not everyone in your party needs to purchase Disney Genie+. The person in charge of making plans for the travel party will be able to manage Disney Genie+ entitlements and individual attraction selections via their mobile phone. I do not know if Disney Genie+ entitlements will be able to be associated with individual MagicBands, but fortunately, they will be accessible via the mobile phone of the person managing plans. At this time, your children will not need a mobile phone or MagicBand of their own to use Disney Genie+.
However, more details about Disney Genie and Disney Genie+ service will be released as we get closer to the debut of Disney Genie service this fall. I encourage you to
