Hi Disney friends! Split stay next week AKL to WL. We will have some cold items (yogurt, cheese). Will WL be able to keep them cold at bell services until our room is ready? Thank you!!

Hey there, Amanda, and welcome back to planDisney! It's just so great that you've trusted us with your best Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning questions. As you know, my Panelist pals and I are here and always happy to help our fellow Guests, just like you!

Amanda, it sounds like you're heading to two of my very favorite Disney Resorts Collection hotels - Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney's Wilderness Lodge - how exciting! You're probably already familiar with Bell Services and the fact that they'll be delighted to move your luggage from your first Resort hotel to the second. At this time, Bell Services is unable to transfer perishable items, as the transfer time could be a few hours. Here's an option - if you place a grocery delivery on the day you check in to Wilderness Lodge, Bell Services should be able to keep your new refrigerated items cold until you're able to pick them up, so that might be a good workaround for you!

I'm looking forward to my split stay in a few months, and I'd love to share some advice I received from another Panelist. The night before you move to your new home at Wilderness Lodge, be sure to check with the Front Desk at Animal Kingdom Lodge about the time you need to have your luggage ready for Bell Services. If you miss the transfer pickup, you'll be responsible for moving your luggage. Calling a Minnie Van wouldn't be a bad option, but I think you'll find that the complimentary luggage transfer from Bell Services would be much more convenient.

Amanda, I hope you have the best time during your vacation at the Most Magical Place on Earth! If you'd like any recommendations on where to find awesome meals, snacks, and drinks at your Resort hotels, you have a friend in me. Just head on back to planDisney with any other vacation planning questions you have!

    See you real soon!
