Hello Daniel! By the sound of your question, you must enjoy the parks late at night as much as I do! Being in the Disney Parks during the late-night hours is such a unique experience. The crowds have dwindled significantly. Lines are much shorter for attractions. And there is a peacefulness throughout the parks with a pace that feels more relaxed than the busier daylight hours. The Disney After Hours events, as well as Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party are great ways to experience the parks late at night!
The Disney After Hours events are held on select nights at both Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. To find tickets, go to the Walt Disney World Resort website and hover your mouse over the heading that states, “Parks & Tickets.” When the dropdown menu appears, select “
Special Event Tickets.” When the page appears, you will see options for both events -
Disney After Hours at Magic Kingdom Park and
Disney After Hours at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Select which event you want to attend and then you’ll be prompted to select a date for attendance. The Magic Kingdom Park After Hours events run on select nights through March 27, 2023. Disney’s Hollywood Studios After Hours runs on select nights through April 19, 2023! In addition to lower crowds and short wait times for attractions, Guests will also enjoy complimentary snacks throughout the evening. But the best benefit of these events is that ticket holders can enter the park beginning at 7:00 PM, even though the events don’t begin until later in the evening! That’s a great perk!
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a seasonal event held at Magic Kingdom Park. The party typically takes place on select nights from mid-August through Halloween night! This is truly one of my favorite special events! The park is decorated for Halloween. There are special Halloween-themed snacks available. Guests can trick-or-treat through Magic Kingdom Park. There is even a special fireworks show and Halloween parade during the party! Similar to the Disney After Hours events, Guests holding tickets for the Halloween Party are typically allowed to enter the park at 7:00 PM even though the party doesn’t start until later! Tickets for this event are currently not on sale, however, I recommend keeping an eye on the Walt Disney World Resort website and Disney Parks Blog. Tickets typically go on sale around March or April!
Happy planning!
