Hi there, Helen! Welcome to the
Disney Vacation Club corner of planDisney. I'm so glad you found us! It's really exciting to hear that you're thinking of joining DVC, and it will be my pleasure to help with some details about tours for prospective Members. Let's get right to it!
We joined DVC about ten years ago after doing quite a bit of research, and what sealed the deal was the in-person tour we took during a vacation at
Walt Disney World Resort. The sales guide we met with that day did a great job answering our (many) questions and explaining some of the ins and outs of Membership. It was a low-pressure visit, and although we didn't join that day, the experience was really the final nudge we needed to sign on the dotted line!
Helen, you can schedule a tour by visiting any of the DVC kiosks in the theme parks or
Resort Hotels, or book
online via the DVC website. If you are staying on Walt Disney World property, you can even have a DVC vehicle transport you to the site of your tour! Tours last about 30 minutes and are offered at many locations, including the Disney Vacation Club Preview Center at
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa,
Disney's Riviera Resort, and the Gateway to Discovery Welcome Center at
Disney Springs.
Non-Members may receive a Disney Gift Card upon completion of a tour. When I spoke to a sales guide today, they shared that currently a married couple staying at a Deluxe resort who attend a tour together will be eligible for a $200 gift card (subject to change). I'm not sure when you're planning your next trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth, but you can certainly ask what incentives are available at the time you book the tour!
I hope this information is helpful as you do your DVC homework, Helen! Thanks so much for visiting planDisney, and please don't hesitate to
reach out directly if I can help with any other questions about Membership. You've got a friend in me!
Stay Magical!
Susan
