Hello what does disney do with all the flowers and topiaries after the epcot flower and garden festival? Just wondering if they are still going to be there in July when we go? Thanks

    Hello Wendy,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It’s wonderful to see you again!

I absolutely love the Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival, and I was really sad that I wasn’t going to be able to get to Walt Disney World Resort in time to enjoy the Festival this year. From what I understand, most of the topiaries are removed from Epcot once the Festival is over, in part because their flowering/blooming season has come to a close.

While Disney Horticulture will make sure that Epcot’s flora and foliage look wonderful year-round, including in July, you’re unlikely to see any of the Festival’s topiaries at that time… but anything is possible!

If you’re interested in gardening, don’t forget that there are several Walt Disney World Resort Events and Tours, like the Gardens of the World tour at Epcot, that can give you an in-depth and close-up look at what it takes to keep the Disney Parks in bloom.

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
