    We are going to be in Disney Florida August 27, 2017 to September 2, 2017 , is there going to be a Dapper day? how do I prepare for it.?

    Hi, Tinamarie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    Funny story: During one of my last Walt Disney World Resort vacations, my friends and I haphazardly stumbled through Dapper Day, an unofficial day where Guests dress in their most “dapper” outfits, many of which are Disney themed. Unfortunately, the days when you are attending Walt Disney World Resort do not fall within one of these Dapper Days. The Fall Dapper Days are currently listed on Saturday, November 18th at Magic Kingdom Park and Sunday, November 19th at Epcot. A quick search on Google will lead you to a list of all Dapper Day dates. In terms of how to prepare, you can either go all-out and make (or purchase) costumes or simply wear your everyday attire. Many women were in full vintage dresses and men were dressed in noteworthy sophisticated attire. However, many Guests, such as myself came unprepared and were not turned away at the Theme Park entrance. I did, however, enjoy all of the outfits and it was a great day to visit! 

    I hope this answers your question about Dapper Day, and keep in mind that you can be dapper any day, as long as you follow the clothing regulations for Walt Disney World Resort. Come and visit us again soon!
