Hi April,
I know exactly what its like having a little guy with a birthday on Dec 24th. I try super hard to make sure its special & separate it from Christmas Eve. I'm pretty sure as long as my DS gets a lot of toys, he thinks its special.
Pirates are always a favorite at that age. Click
here for some pirate themed suggestions.
If he loves Star Wars, you could plan to visit Disney's Hollywood Studios (DHS) & check out their Star Wars themed attractions:
* Jedi Training Academy - click
here for more info.
* Star Tours
* Visit Tatooine Traders located next to Star Tours. You'll find awesome Star Wars merchandise & guests can build their own lightsabers. You can also do this at Once Upon A Toy at Downtown Disney.
For a personal touch, contact the Disney Floral & Gifts Department. They can help with an in-room celebration or a special delivery to a dining location. Visit them online at
www.disneyflorist.com or call them at 407-WDW-GIFT.
When making any advanced dining reservations (ADRs), be sure to mention that he'll be celebrating a birthday. You can request a celebration cake when you arrive for any ADRs. You can also order a special birthday cake by calling 407-827-2253. ADRs are required & cakes must be ordered at least 48 hours prior to your reservation.
Be sure to pick up your son a "Happy Birthday" button from Guest Relations. Its a great way to draw attention to his special day.
Wishing you minnie magical memories :-) Allison
