We are going to be Disney first timers on fall break. How difficult is it to travel from resort to resort and resort to parks? We are driving from Indiana, but don't want to have to drive that much on vacation.

    Hello Amanda,

How exciting! Your very first visit to Walt Disney World is sure to be full of magical memories. My family also likes to drive down for vacation when we visit. We prefer using Resort Transportation as well, but there are times when we are definitely glad to have our own vehicle!

Traveling from your Disney Resort Hotel to the parks is simple. You'll just hop on the boat, bus, or Monorail, depending on where you stay, and off you go! We typically prefer using Resort Transportation when going to and from the parks.

That said, transportation is not offered directly between most Resort Hotels, so if you have plans to visit another Resort hotel, I recommend driving your own vehicle. If you aren't sure or need directions, a Cast Member at the Lobby Concierge in your Resort will be happy to assist you.

Fall is such a wonderful time to enjoy Walt Disney World, Amanda. I hope you have a fantastic vacation!

    Happy planning,

    Andrea U.
