Hi Jessica,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. In my opinion, your boys are at the perfect age for a first visit to Walt Disney World Resort. Get ready to have the most magical time and enjoy the wonder on their faces!
Guests under age 3 may eat for free from an adult’s plate at select restaurants throughout Walt Disney World. Ask your server to bring a small plate; it really makes the sharing easier, and in my experience this has been absolutely fine. If you order something from the menu that is specifically for your child, you will be charged.
Be Our Guest Restaurant,
Chef Mickey’s, and
‘Ohana are all fabulous choices for your boys’ first trip. There are lots of fun nooks and crannies to explore at Be Our Guest, and if you’re going for dinner, be sure to visit Beast in the West Wing. You’ll want to take lots of photos of their interactions with the characters at Chef Mickey’s and ‘Ohana (if you are visiting for breakfast). If you’re going to ‘Ohana for the character breakfast, the parade that takes place throughout the morning, is one of the most magical things we have experienced at Walt Disney world, so be sure to take part!
Jessica, make sure your family picks up Celebration buttons from Guest Services at your Resort Hotel or various locations around the theme parks. These buttons let Cast Members and fellow Guests know that you’re celebrating a first visit, and they will sprinkle you with good wishes and maybe even some pixie dust whenever you wear them.
Wishing you a magical first visit to Walt Disney World,
Robyn
