    Disney for the first time with our 21 month old this Dec. We will be staying at the Swan. Any recs on whether or not we should bring car seat for the transport from airport to hotel? will not have car and will rely on tram/shuttle to get to the park.

    Hi Beth!  This is a common question from many parents.  According to Florida law commercial vehicles do not require children to be in car seats.  However, most parents are not comfortable with that in smaller vehicles such as taxis.  When we have needed a taxi during any part of a Disney vacation we have been able to request one with a car seat.  You can perhaps do the same if you choose to take that mode of transportation to your resort.

    The buses you will use to get to the parks will also not require car seats.

    There is a carseat/stroller combination that is made and my own children have bought that for their travels.  It works great on the airplanes and then with an easy pull it becomes a stroller so you have it immediately ready when you exit the plane.  It is not an inexpensive solution but if you travel often with your children it can be used for years for stress free trips.  Please click HERE to see more information!

    You will have the chance to rent strollers at each park when you arrive or can bring your own to use around the resort.
