We are going to Disney for the first time in March. We have already paid for the Disney Dining Package (the basic one, two meals and a snack). I'm wondering how much we should budget for just meals and a few basic souvenirs? We will be there for 7 days.

    Hi Sara

On most mornings, we grab a pastry and coffee at the resort or park which runs about $20 for a family of four. For lunch, my family usually eats at a counter-service restaurant. Generally, we find that it costs about $35 for a family of four to eat a counter service meal, which includes two adults meals and drinks and two kids meals. For dinner, a basic dinner of burgers, kids meals, and drinks may run from about $50 or more including tax and tip for a family of four. Should your family want to enjoy appetizers, fancier entrees, wine, and dessert, don’t be surprised if the bill for a family of four starts to run at least $100 or higher.

As for souvenirs, you'll find them all over Disney World, from  autograph books, key chains, pens, pencils, antenna toppers, Disney-themed candy and character figurines for a few dollars to moderately priced clothing to artwork costing much more.  Depending on what you are looking for,  I would budget between $10 to $50 a day.
