We are going to Disney for the first time with our kids - son, 8 and daughter 3 and would like a suggestion for a final dining spot. What would be the most exciting place to bring an end to our memorable trip? MK in morn. and we'll have park hopper tix.

I have 2 thoughts, but they are a little bit more costly.  The first is dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table (the castle).  To me dining at the castle epitomizes the magic of Disney, and we just ate there last week with our 3 sons.  While they did "have" to pose with Cinderella (good for your daughter!), there aren't any princesses at dinner (good for your son!).  The Fairy Godmother and 2 of the mice do visit, but it is more of a chance to celebrate special occasions.  And when you dine there, your children will receive a sword (son)  and magic wand (daughter); you will receive a photo package to help mark the special event.

My second idea is The California Grill, which is at the top floor of The Contemporary Resort.  It is such a glamorous and beautiful restaurant with spectacular views of all of Walt Disney World.  In fact there are balconies that you can explore and get some incredible photos.  Another magical opportunity is that you can view Wishes from the restaurant as well.  If you dine early, you are welcome to return; you will simply need to show your receipt.
