We're going to Disney for the first time in July with our 2 year old and 7 year old. We "heard" that it might be a good idea to rent a double stroller, because even our 7 year old will get tired. Is this a good idea? Will he fit?

    Hi Christiona!

We rented a double stroller our last Disney trip (with a 6 and 2-year old) and it turned out to be a wise investment for us. The strollers are pretty large and my daughter (the 6 year old) fit in it comfortably with my 2-year old son.

I'm not sure the max height for a kid, but she was 46" and looks like there may have been a couple inches to spare when she sat in it.

Having the stroller allowed us to spend the entire day at the park without my daughter getting too cranky (some days she'd fall asleep in the stroller with my son-which made for a great photo op :-)

But I guess it comes to preference. Some parents prefer their children to walk all day so they're nice and tired when they leave the park. We tried this with our daughter with mixed results.

Hope you have a magical, memorable, majestic time on your 1st trip!
