    We are going to Disney for the first time in Jan of 17. I thought discounts would be offered by now, how far in advance are discounts and promotions usually released?

    I love a great deal and when that deal takes me to Walt Disney World, it's even better!

    In my experience, I've noticed that Special Offers, if any, tend to be for the current season or the one just ahead. Using that logic, my guess would be that once fall really starts to roll in, you may see those early 2017 discounts if they become available.

    Offers change from year to year so there are no guarantees, but I like to check the historical data on Mousesavers.com to get an idea of how things have happened in the past.

    I recommend checking the Special Offers page as well as the Disney Parks Blog for the most up-to-date information. I'm also crossing my fingers for a January discount so here's hoping!
