    We are going to Disney for the first time and have chosen the quick dining plan. I understand that this will not translate to character meals. Would we be better to upgrade the meal plan or pay for the character meals in cash - two adult and one child?

    Hi Christine - that really depends on how many character meals you are planning to do.  If you think that you'll do one a day or close to one a day, I'd recommend that you do upgrade to the standard meal plan.  It's definitely a better deal than paying cash for all of your table service meals. 

    However, if you are only planning on doing one table service meal, paying cash is the way to go.
