Hi, there!
Oh my goodness, Julianne - I'm so excited to hear you're planning your family's first Walt Disney World Resort vacation. I know you'll have a magical stay!
As a mom of three, I'm almost always traveling with
little ones in tow. My husband and I have to take some extra things into consideration when we're planning, like nap times and picky eating habits, but watching our kiddos experience the magic of the Walt Disney World Resort is just priceless! To add some much-needed convenience and flexibility to our Disney vacations, we always purchase the
Disney Dining Plan. We really appreciate how easy it is to use. We've found a lot of a value in the Disney Dining Plan too, especially when used for
Character Dining Experiences. The one time we went without it during a long weekend visit, we immediately regretted it. We found ourselves fretting over receipts and being reluctant to splurge on a specialty beverage, dessert, or snack item. With the Disney Dining Plan, we're much more likely to indulge ourselves; it
is vacation, after all!
Since your stay exceeds the number of days you'll be exploring the theme parks, I recommend making some
dining reservations at other Disney Resort hotels and Disney Springs. You have lots of fabulous options! A must-do for my family is Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort. We also love Sanaa at Disney's Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village and T-REX at Disney Springs.
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Julianne. Please visit us again soon with any new questions you may have!
