We have been to Disney a few times but this is our first time staying at a Disney resort. Will we get a welcome packet when we check in with info on special activities or the extended hours?

    Hi Jamie,

You are going to have so much fun!!!  Yes, when you arrive at your Walt Disney World Resort, you will receive a "Welcome" envelope/folder containing mostly information about your resort.  A map of the grounds, pool locations, buildings, laundry facilities, parking lots, bus terminals, main building, etc.. etc...  You should also be given a "Guidemap" as well as a "Times guide & Information sheet" for the time period you will be there (these run for a period of 1 week at a time).  If you need more of these maps or guides for the Theme Parks, Water Parks, Miniature Golf Courses or Downtown Disney, you will find them located at the front desk in a brochure rack or at any "Guest Services" location throughout the Disney World Resort area.  The "Extra Magic Hours" are located on these time guides and the cast members will be more than happy to fill you in on "special" activities during your stay...don't be shy, just ask!  If you are traveling with children you may also receive coloring books/sheets, crayons, pins, balloons, etc... it all depends on who is checking you in at that time! (make sure to tell them that this is your "first time" staying at a Disney World Resort property!!!!).

    Have a magical stay,
