I am going to Disney in a few days with a park hopper pass. Can we park at magic kingdom and go to Epcot without having to driving?

Welcome to planDisney, Jenifer! With a park hopping visit to the Most Magical Place on Earth in your very near future, I'm so glad you brought your question to us today, and because I love to spend a day hopping from park to park, I'm excited to chat with you about all the logistics of getting around conveniently!

Jenifer, you are more than welcome to use the complimentary Disney resort transportation options for your park-hopping adventures! Starting your day at Magic Kingdom, you'll park at the Transportation and Ticket Center and then have the option to board the Disney Monorail or Disney Ferryboat to Magic Kingdom Park. Here, you will also find a second monorail line that takes guests to EPCOT. If you're planning to start your day at Magic Kingdom, you'll take the monorail or ferryboat to the park, and when it's time to hop, you'll use the monorail to get to EPCOT and can leave your car parked where you started your day! When your day is over, you can take the monorail back to collect your car! The EPCOT monorail is available for guests 30 minutes before EPCOT is scheduled to open and runs for about two hours after the park closes.

Arriving at EPCOT by Disney Monorail is one of my favorite ways to get a birdseye view of the park as the monorail makes a loop around, offering a unique vantage point, so be sure to check out the views as you approach the park!

Jenifer, before I let you go, here's one quick tip if you're planning to use Lightning Lane Passes during your park hopping day: You can purchase Lightning Lane Multi Pass for any park you'll be visiting on this day, and you can combine that purchase with up to two Lightning Lane Single Pass experiences in any of the parks as well. So you can choose early return times at Magic Kingdom, or stack later return times at EPCOT if you prefer! Also, keep in mind that once you tap into your first attraction, with your park hopper ticket, you can then make additional selections at any of the theme parks! I've found this to be a great way to experience more when I park hop since it saves me so much time waiting in line!

Jenifer, I hope this is helpful, and I hope you have the most magical day! Be sure to catch some fireworks to end your day - both Luminous The Symphony of Us at EPCOT and Happily Ever After at Magic Kingdom are iconic ways to end your magical day! If you have any other questions we can help with, come see us again real soon here at planDisney!
