We will be in Disney Feb 13-18. In the past there has been a cheer competition during this time. Does anyone know if that is the case this year and if so, is it possible to find out when and where so that we can try to avoid it as much as possible?

Hi Michael-

You can find information about the various competitions held at ESPN's Wide World of Sports Complex via their website. This should take you to the cheer and dance page, and you'll be able to click on 'event info' for more information on the events. The cheer competition adds so much energy and fun to the atmosphere--it's really amazing what those kids can do!

As the schedule shows now, the Cheerleading Championship looks like it's scheduled for February 12-13, followed by Twirl Mania February 18-22.
