Hi, we will be in Disney Feb 10-17. Mom and Sister will be there on Val. day to watch kiddos so me and hubby want to do a nice dinner. What suggestions do you have? We have hopper passes so anywhere will work. Thanks love you guys.

Hi Stacie! What a lucky couple you are to have your mom and sister there to watch the kids so you can enjoy a lovely evening with your husband!

Victoria and Alberts is the Disney signature dinner for exquisite atmosphere and food. It will also be pricey and it will basically be all about just doing dinner that night as it is a long drawn out experience.  If you are looking for perhaps a dinner and a park experience two thoughts come to mind.

EPCOT is a wonderful park to indulge in when traveling without children. Walking around the World Showcase at night is not only beautiful but a fun experience as you shop and talk with their native cast members.  For dinner I would suggest dining at Bistro De Paris which is located in the France pavilion. This is the restaurant that is actually located one flight above the more known location Chefs De France.  The atmosphere is quiet and very elegant and we have always had superb service.  Once dinner is completed you then have the opportunity to find a nice location outside to watch Illuminations.

Another top choice for a nice dinner is Citricos located in the Grand Floridian resort.  Request a table in the main circular dining area for a more intimate experience.  A quick monorail ride to the Magic Kingdom can finish your evening so you can watch the wonderful Wishes fireworks show in this park.

The California Grill located in the Contemporary resort offers wonderful food and is a favorite of many guests as you can sometimes get a table near the windows and watch the fireworks. If not, there is an outside area just for the restaurant guests where you can stand and watch the show.  My only negative to this location is that it seems they have tried to add more tables to the dining room making it very crowded and a bit noisy.

Hopefully one of these locations will be a choice for a very special Valentines Day celebration!
