Welcome to planDisney Amy!
I am so excited to hEAR that you will be visiting Walt Disney World next month. It truly is an exciting time to finalize your plans and prepare all your dining reservations. My family recently began helping plan where we are going to eat. Our new “must-do” is
Coral Reef Restaurant in EPCOT.
When it comes to using your My Disney Experience account make sure your family members have accepted your invite and opted into allowing you to make plans with them. After they have accepted your request, I recommend signing out of your account and then back in. Hopefully this does the trick and you will then see them on your
family & friends list.
If you don't, you’ll still want to make sure you
make those reservations first, then modify your party after. That way you are able to secure your “must-dos” for the preferred restaurant or timeframe you are hoping for. As long as you have included everyone in your dining reservation count, you will be good to go! The Cast Member at your dining location is looking for the total number of people on the reservation, more so than their names. Although, seeing your name on a reservation is part of the fun!
After you’ve made your reservations, you can also try modifying your party on your mobile device using the
My Disney Experience App to include your selected family and friends. If that still seems to not solve the problem, I recommend reaching out to the
Help Center to see if they are able to help complete the link for you.
Again, don’t worry about this too much, Amy. Just keep swimming, or planning, and as long as your party size reflects the correct number, you all will be able to dine and enjoy your meal!
See ya real soon!
