Going to Disney in Feb on the 7 for 4 deal plus $200 gift card. We have the DDP also. I was wondering if we will be able to use our gift card towards tips since they are not included in the dining plan?

    Hi Melissa,

That's great that you have taken advantage of the new promotion that's out.  You can use your gift card all throughout WDW including the restaurants.  My family always gets charging privileges on our WDW resort keys.  This is very convenient and keeps tracks of how much we're actually spending.

I visiting WDW recently with a couple of gift cards and I kept them all in the resort safe until our last night.  Then I brought them to the front desk to have them applied to our room charges.  I felt safer having them back at the room.  If you lose your gift card it can't be replaced.  You can, however, have your room key deactivated if it gets lost.

That's how we usually do it, but you can also just carry the gift card and ask your server to apply tip charges to it.  You will be given a receipt that tells you your current balance each time you use it.

    Have a wonderful trip
