Going to Disney in Feb from the 8-15 with 3 children, want to do the Fantastmic meal....what time does the show start? Just wondering what is a good time to eat and give us enough time to get to the show...thanks!

    Hi Krista,

Love that you are planning ahead for Fantasmic! Its one of my favorite performances at Disney.  The Fantasmic! Dining Package includes choosing lunch or dinner at 1 of 3 restaurants:

    * Hollywood Brown Derby (lunch or dinner)
    * Mama Melrose's Ristorante Italiano (lunch or dinner)
    * Hollywood & Vine (dinner only)

The package also includes seating in a reserved section for Fantasmic!  The suggested arrival time at the Hollywood Hills Amphitheater with the dining package is 30 - 45 minutes prior to Fantasmic! The section is reserved but the seats within the section are not & are available on a first come basis. I'd still suggest arriving at least an hour prior to the performance time - the earlier you arrive the better seat selection you'll have within the reserved section.  If you run into any problems, speak with a Cast Member in the reserved section for assistance.

Fantasmic! is now only performed on select evenings. During your stay, Fantasmic! will be performed on Feb 9th at 7:30 p.m. & Feb 13th at 7 p.m.

You could try to get the lunch package so that you aren't racing the clock to make it to Fantasmic! in time. If you can't get a lunch reservation or prefer a dinner reservation, I'd plan to dine 2 to 2 1/2 hours prior to Fantasmic! That will give you time to enjoy your meal and get to the ampitheatre in time without feeling rushed.

Bring sure to bring something to keep your kids entertained while waiting for the show. Its worth the wait & good things come to those who wait.

Enjoy Fantasmic!  Wishing you many magical memories :-)  Allison
