Ahoy, Lori, and welcome to planDisney! Bahamian cruises are the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation – you must be so excited to set sail aboard the
Disney Fantasy to Castaway Cay, Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, and Nassau! With all the excitement on board and at the ports of call, you'll definitely want to refuel with great food.
There are three Main Dining restaurants on the Disney Fantasy, and you'll have a chance to experience them all! Disney Cruise Line uses something called
Rotational Dining. Guests are pre-assigned to locations for dinner each night. The serving team will travel with you and become familiar with your preferences, which is really convenient.
Here are the three restaurants you can look forward to experiencing:
- Royal Court: You'll feel as if you've stepped into a royal feast at this elegant restaurant with thoughtful décor inspired by Disney Princess films.
- Animator's Palate: This spot is filled with color and creativity, with lots of design touches that are reminiscent of an animation studio.
- Enchanted Garden: This is a wonderfully whimsical restaurant that feels like a lush conservatory with a dash of magic.
It looks like you'll experience each restaurant over the first three nights of the cruise. You'll have dinner at the same restaurant on Day 4 that you did on Day 3, except that the menu will change for
Pirate Night. And then, on Day 5, you'll return to the restaurant you started at. This is all subject to change, so you'll want to confirm your dining details in the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once you board the ship and connect to Wi-Fi.
There are quite a few locations on Deck 11 where you can get quick-service food items, too. My family usually heads to
Cabanas for breakfast. You can also check the app to see which Main Dining restaurants are serving breakfast or lunch.
If you're looking for something a little fancy, make reservations at the adult-exclusive restaurants,
Palo or
Remy, for brunch or dinner. Additional fees would apply at these two locations, and formal or semi-formal attire is recommended. While I haven't dined at either of these restaurants myself, many of my planDisney pals speak very highly of them.
Lastly, don't forget about
room service! You can order sandwiches, pizza, desserts, snacks, and more. Certain items may have an added fee, but plenty of room service options are included in the price of your cruise!
Lori, as Chef Remy said, "If you are what you eat, then I only want to eat the good stuff." Luckily, there’s no shortage of amazing dining options on a Disney cruise. I hope you have a wonderful time aboard the Disney Fantasy this fall. If you think of any other questions between now and embarkation day, please reach out – we're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Your pal,
Kriss
