Ahoy, Anne! Thank you for bringing your Disney Cruise Line question over to planDisney. It looks like you will actually be sailing aboard the Disney Treasure for your
7-Night Western Caribbean Cruise from Port Canaveral on May 2-9, 2026, which is one of the newest members of the Disney fleet.
Each ship has its own lineup of entertainment, which includes three different Broadway-style shows and other surprise offerings to bring the Walt Disney Theatre to life each night of your sailing. Aboard the
Disney Treasure, you will set sail across the vast ocean in “Disney The Tale of Moana,” experience a tale as old as time in “Beauty and the Beast,” and laugh at Goofy’s antics in the original stage spectacular “Disney Seas the Adventure.” These shows are only offered one night each per sailing and the other four nights of your cruise will usually feature performances by variety entertainers, such as comedians, magicians, musicians, and more. Occasionally, the newest Disney, Pixar, Marvel, or Star Wars movie releases will replace showtime one night, but that typically only occurs right around a new release date.
Disney Cruise Line only offers one show per night, but that same show is performed twice and you will attend the one that is not during your assigned
rotational dining time. You will either be assigned to the early dinner seating or the late dinner seating. If you have the early dinner seating, then you will attend showtime in the Walt Disney Theatre after dinner. However, if you have the late dinner seating, then you will go to the earlier showtime and have dinner afterwards. On the Disney Treasure, the beautiful, two-story Walt Disney Theatre is located on Decks 3 and 4. For the best seats, I do recommend arriving at least 10-15 minutes prior to your show’s start time.
The exact schedule of events will not be available until embarkation day, when you will be able to access the day-to-day itinerary for your entire sailing. Be sure that you have downloaded the
Disney Cruise Line Navigator App prior to your sail date, so that you can access all of the daily activities, dining details, and entertainment schedules once you can connect to the ship’s wi-fi at the port. The Navigator App will allow you to keep track of your desired activities under “My Plans” by using the “Add Activities” button to your personal schedule. However, adding an activity does not create any type of reservation, it is solely for managing your planned itinerary.
There is nothing better than showtime in the Walt Disney Theatre, so be sure not to miss any of the signature performances during your cruise. If you have any other questions, we are always happy to help here at planDisney. Happy sailing!
