We are on Disney Fantasy in Mediterranean from 31st May. What themed nights are there? Thanks 😊

    Ahoy, Jeanette!

Welcome aboard planDisney! A 7-night sailing on the Fantasy in the Mediterranean? Now that’s what I call making magic across the map! What a spectacular way to kick off your summer, sailing through stunning ports and soaking in the magic of Disney at sea.

Let’s talk themed nights—because who doesn’t love a reason to dress up and step into a little extra magic?

On your sailing, there are currently three themed evenings scheduled. Here’s the lineup, but remember—just like Mary Poppins' carpet bag, things can change unexpectedly, so always double-check the Disney Cruise Line Navigator app once onboard for the most up-to-date info!

Day 3 (at sea): Formal Night
This is your chance to go full-on fairy tale! Whether you bring your glass slippers, a tiara, or just your favorite dressy outfit, Formal Night sets the tone for an evening of elegance. Be on the lookout for a welcome event that often happens on this night, where you can mix and mingle with the ship’s officers, enjoy a few complimentary drinks, and snap some magical photos with your dapper crew.

Day 4 (Genoa, Italy): Pirate Night
Shiver me timbers—it’s time to unleash your inner swashbuckler! Pirate Night is always a highlight, and even though your itinerary doesn’t currently include fireworks, you’ll still want to join the raucous fun of the deck party, complete with dancing, games, and all the Yo Ho Ho you can handle. Don’t forget the special pirate-themed menu at dinner—my personal favorite is the “Bananas in Paradise” dessert. I’ll be honest... I’ve ordered two before. No regrets, and definitely not to share!

Day 7 (Naples, Italy): Semi-Formal Night
To wrap up your high-seas adventure, you’ll have one more chance to dress to impress. Whether you go for royal elegance round two or find that sweet spot between casual and classy, it’s the perfect way to end your magical Mediterranean journey on a high note.

Of course, dressing up is totally optional—you and your crew should wear whatever makes you feel most comfortable and helps you create the most magical memories.

Now while it’s not a themed night per se, I have to give a shoutout to Mickey’s Color Spin Dance Party, which is currently scheduled for Day 5 (Livorno, Italy). This high-energy deck party had us dancing and singing like nobody was watching on our last cruise, especially when those iconic Disney hits started playing. I won’t spoil the playlist, but let’s just say it hits all the right nostalgic notes!

I hope this helps you get ready to dance, dine, and dazzle your way through the Mediterranean! If any more questions come floating your way, feel free to sail back to planDisney. We’re always ready to help steer your plans in a magical direction.

Sea ya real soon with a splash of April fun and a boatload of Disney magic,
    Dustin
