Welcome back, Jeff!
Getting ready for your sailing on the Disney Fantasy with another great question! That's so awesome you are thinking ahead about the Mom(s) in your life and in making that day extra special. She's sure to SEA that you've gone the extra nautical mile for her.
I checked with my friends, and some of them have been on previous Mother's Day sailings. They said that Disney Cruise Line has hosted activities and events like a Mother's Day dance party, crafting with the kids to make Mom the perfect card, and a few other surprises sprinkled in like pixie dust.
Naturally, there are other ways you can shower your special Mom with love on her big day. I’ll have to say my love language is spoken with pampering, so a spa treatment at
Senses Spa and Salon would certainly do the trick for me! I’ve got my eye on the Alone Time in the Spa Villa for one. There’s also the Rainforest Room with its mixture of aromatherapy showers, saunas, and my favorite heated tile loungers. I think I could stay in there all day! A one-day pass to the Rainforest Room can be pre-purchased via
Onboard Gifts prior to your sail date.
If I were choosing something on a Disney ship that would make me feel like a million bucks, then I would say brunch at
Palo would accomplish that. Getting to have some one-on-one adult time and dive into the bountiful buffet AND a la carte menu? Priceless! I walk out of that meal feeling quite happy with myself. And somehow, even though I’ve eaten to my heart’s content, I always end up hungry later in the day!
There may be more events I’m unaware of, so please keep a weather eye on the
Disney Parks Navigator app or the Personal Navigator in your stateroom for the latest scoop.
Enjoy every moment of your family time together onboard Disney Cruise Line and celebrating all the Moms in your life.
SEA ya real soon!
