    Hi Disney moms, we're a family of 3, visiting Magic Kingdom only. Our daughter will then be 23months, so we'd like to schedule an occasional hotel break in the afternoon,yet not spend too much time commuting. Which resort off the monorail do you recommend?

    I hope you are looking forward to planning your Walt Disney World® Resort vacation, it's half the fun! 

    I love talking resorts! And based on your criteria my suggestion would be Disney's Contemporary Resort. I believe you will find utilizing the Walkway to the Magic Kingdom in the mornings the absolute easiest way to get to the Magic Kingdom. There will be no wait to board the Monorail and you can be there in 5-8 minutes. When it's time for your family's afternoon break, head to the Monorail Station, the Contemporary is the very first stop leaving the Magic Kingdom. 

    I believe you will also find the dining options of this resort perfect for your family-- with Chef Mickey's and the Contempo Cafe right there on the Grand Canyon Concourse, you will have access to all you need. In addition, your little princess will love the water play area near the pool and the nightly movies played under the stars. I really think you will be happy at one of Walt Disney World's original resort hotels. Another suggestion to make your vacation super convenient is to book a Tower Room-- you'll be right in the heart of the action.
