    Hi I am going to Disney with my family in Oct.2014 We are not staying on the property, but was wondering if the magic bands were going to be available to us or if they are only for people staying on property.? Thank you

    Hi Jamie,

    Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I love traveling to Walt Disney World in October! The weather is usually great and my family loves the Epcot International Food and Wine Festival. As of today, magic bands are only available for guests staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. The magic bands are a part of the MyMagic+ system which is still in the testing phase. There have been frequent changes so my best advice is to keep an eye on the MyMagic+ webpage and My Disney Experience.
