Hi Disney Moms! Can my family and I take the monorail from Disney Springs directly to Magic Kingdom?

Hello Noreen and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The Walt Disney World Monorail has three distinct lines. The Resort Monorail makes stops at the Magic Kingdom, Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, the Transportation and Ticket Center, and Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. The Epcot line travels between the Transportation and Ticket Center and Epcot while the Express line goes between the Magic Kingdom and the Transportation and Ticket Center.  Unfortunately, at this time there is not Monorail transportation from the Magic Kingdom to Disney Springs.

There are, however, buses available. At this time, buses from a Disney World Resort hotel to Disney Springs begin 45 minutes before opening and return until 2:00 am. There are also direct buses one way from theme parks to Disney Springs, including the Magic Kingdom beginning at 4:00 pm daily.  If you are looking for bus transportation to the Magic Kingdom from Disney Springs, I would recommend catching a bus to Disney's Contemporary Resort, and from there you can easily walk to the Magic Kingdom.

I hope this helps with your planning. If you have more questions, don't hesitate to ask!

    See ya real soon,
    Anne
