I am going to Disney with my family the first week of February. They are ages 7, 6, 4, and 2. Are any of the Orlando Waterparks appropriate for this age?

    Hi, Paul!

Your family is in for quite a treat when you arrive in Walt Disney World this February!

Each winter, Cast Members at WDW close one of the two water parks for refurbishment, so Disney's Typhoon Lagoon will be your water park of choice the first week of February. This is a great park for Guests of all ages, so even your littlest one will be able to enjoy a fun-filled day there. From the laid-back Castaway Creek to the family-friendly Gang Plank Falls, your entire family will love your spent at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Be sure to let the littlest in your family enjoy some time at Ketchakiddee Creek, an aquatic play area that was designed for preschoolers and little ones 48" or shorter.

Don't forget to bring sunscreen, as the Florida sun can burn even in the winter months. Fortunately, there are plenty of seating areas in the shade as well as in the sun, so you can select what you're looking for as soon as you enter the park. Bring towels with you, or, if you forgot, rent them for $2 each. Here's a map of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon, so you can familiarize yourself with all of the fun things your entire family can enjoy that day.

Have a blast! Be sure to send more questions as you think of them, Paul. We love to help!
