Hey there Michael and welcome to planDisney!
Family, friends, and friends that feel like family are the best part of a Walt Disney World Resort vacation. The beautiful memories you'll make together will stay with you your whole life long. And what says family like sharing a meal together in The Most Magical Place on Earth? I'm happy to share the ins and outs of reserving those meals with you.
While connecting via the
Family and Friends List is incredibly useful for certain endeavors like making
Lightning Lane selections together, it isn't necessary to make
Advance Dining Reservations. You'll only need to specify the number of diners in your party when booking those meals, not the exact identity of the Guests.
The credit card attached to the reservation won't actually be charged at all unless y'all don't show up or you don't cancel the reservation within the allotted time frame. It's only there to hold the reservation. Everyone will be able to pay for their own meals at the end of the dining experience as they would at any other restaurant.
Michael, I hope I've been able to clear that up for you. If you have any other questions, please feel free to
come back for another chat.
Happy planning!
Taylor
