Hi Darla, welcome to planDisney!
Let's start with some facts. You are going to Walt Disney World Resort next month. Valid admission, a
theme park reservation, and a
method of entry (MagicBand, admission card, and/or Disney MagicMobile pass) are currently required for theme park entry. You are visiting during the
50th Anniversary Celebration. You are going to have a magical time.
Now let's go over some
MagicBand facts. Once linked to an individual's
My Disney Experience account, MagicBands are nontransferable. Guests can activate and reactivate their MagicBands at any time online or in the My Disney Experience mobile app. A MagicBand's battery lasts about two years. A MagicBand with a dead battery can still appear as "Active."
I have no explanation for why your MagicBand is not showing up in your My Disney Experience account, Darla. If it's any comfort, I've experienced things disappearing from my My Disney Experience account one day and reappearing the next. When you put all of the MagicBand facts together, you can be confident that your MagicBand is still linked to your account. You can also be confident that it is active. I do suggest trying to see if your MagicBand appears on both the
website as well as the
My Disney Experience mobile app (three small lines at the bottom right of the home screen --> scrolls down to "My Profile" --> "MagicBands and Cards"). I also suggest refreshing the webpage and/or restarting the app. If you won't rest until the issue is resolved, you are welcome to contact a Cast Member at the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands phone number, (407) 939-4357, between 7:00 a.m. and 11:00 p.m. EST. We can't have Stitch-uations interrupting your Disney dreaming!
Let's end with a fun fact. Did you know that the
Walt Disney World monorails have logged enough miles to make 30 round trips to the moon? You're about to blast off on quite an adventure; planDisney headquarters is here to assist before, during, and after launch!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
