Our My Disney Experience that shows our linked parked tickets and I've made three daily reservations, one each for Epcot, MK, and HS. Everywhere I look everything seems to be controlled by an app but we dont have smartphones. Can we still visit?

    Hi David,

Thanks for stopping in to see us here at planDisney!

I'm happy to hear you have your theme park tickets and your theme park reservations all set for your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. That's some great planning on your part!

David, I'd say yes, you certainly can visit the Walt Disney World Resort without needing to use a smartphone. I think you'll want to be flexible in how you approach your theme park days to enjoy the magic that awaits you.

You're correct that many of the helpful planning tools for visiting the Walt Disney World Resort center around the My Disney Experience mobile app. The app offers many convenient tools to help you plan and manage your Resort stay and your theme park days. For example, the mobile app helps you place mobile food and beverage ordersmake dining reservations, and check for walk-up dining availability. The mobile app also helps you use your mobile device to present your theme park admission using the Disney MagicMobile Service. And, perhaps most importantly, the mobile app provides access to the Disney Genie service and Disney Genie+ service to help you make the most of your theme park days

In your case, David, when you visit the theme parks, you'll want to consider using a MagicBand that you would purchase or a physical theme park admission card for theme park entry. You'll also want to plan on using the traditional standby queues for enjoying theme park attractions. If you're planning on booking table service dining reservations, you might want to consider booking reservations in advance starting at 60 days before your arrival.

Keep in mind, David, that the Cast Members and the Guest Relations teams are always happy to help you with questions you might have as you go about your vacation.

David, here's wishing you a wonderful Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
