Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! How exciting, your vacation is coming up, has the countdown started yet?
For your husband’s MagicBand to show up as active, you’ll just want to re-link it. Within the
My Disney Experience mobile app, select the three lines in the lower righthand corner and scroll to select “My Profile”. Next select “MagicBands & Cards”, then select “Link a MagicBand or Card”. From there, just enter the code on the backside of his MagicBand. Super simple!
If for some reason the MagicBand doesn’t link, reach out to the
My Disney Experience and MagicBands desk. I recently had to follow this same process for an older MagicBand and the Cast Member at that desk was able to assist by adding it. Once the MagicBand is linked, it should show up as “Active” and it’ll be ready for his use on the trip!
