The My Disney Experience App shows that there are direct busses to and from Blizzard Beach or Typhoon Lagoon from all resorts and parks. Is the app wrong? What are the bus options too and from the waterparks?

    Hi Wanda!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Both the My Disney Experience Mobile App as well as the Walt Disney World Resort Bus Transportation information webpage both say that Disney Bus Transportation is available to all of Disney's Theme Parks, two Water Parks and to Disney Springs directly from your Disney Resort Hotel. I have definitely seen direct Water Park buses pull up to my Disney Resort Hotels to whisk guests to splash the day away. However, there are times when bus service to a Disney Water Park does require a stop and transfer somewhere else first. This is usually during the non-summer season when guest traffic to the water parks is lower.

One of the best ways to know what to do is to ask the Front Desk of your Disney Resort Hotel as they'll have the most up-to-date information. But ultimately you won't get too lost as the TV monitors located at each Disney Resort Hotel Bus Stop update the arrival time of the next bus heading to each park. Under the Water Park's name will either be a time for a direct bus, or there will instructions on how to get there. For example, I stayed at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside in early May. The instructions under Disney's Typhoon Lagoon said to 'Take a Bus to Disney Springs and Transfer', while the directions for those wanting to get to Disney's Blizzard Beach said 'Take Bus to Disney's Animal Kingdom and Transfer.'

    I hope this helped, Wanda!
