Does my disney experience app ask when I'm going to first use my ticket

Thank you for bringing us this great question, Jacqueline!

Isn’t the My Disney Experience mobile app a great way to make and keep track of all of your Walt Disney World Resort Reservations, Disney PhotoPass photos and Theme Park tickets? It will even help you locate Disney Characters throughout the Disney Theme Parks, inform you of Attraction wait-times and let you make and change FastPass+ Reservations! I don’t know how we ever used to get by without MyMagic+ to tell you the truth!

Please forgive me if I am not properly understanding your question, but in general, no- you do not have to let your My Disney Experience account know when you will be using your Disney Theme Park tickets. Sometimes, I have multiple Theme Park tickets on my account and I have had to call the My Disney Experience line in order to ensure that my tickets are being used in the right order. For example, I may have a 1-day Base Ticket as well as a 5-day Park Hopper Ticket in my name on my account and I don’t want my 5-day Park Hopper Ticket to be used first if I am only visiting for one day as the rest of my days would expire after 14 days. I hope this makes sense. If you have only one ticket or type of ticket, there is no need to worry about this possible technical issue.

I hope this answers your question, please come back and visit us again soon and happy planning!
