    Does Disney ever offer resale points from some of the "older" resorts? Right now, they offer AKL and Aulani according to the website, but would it be possible to buy into WL or BC directly from Disney?

    Hi Stacie,

    My family and I love our home resort, Disney's BoardWalk Villas, which is one of the "older" Disney Vacation Club resorts. I can certainly see why you are interested in choosing your home resort based on your family.  I love Disney's BoardWalk Villas, and I really enjoy that I can book there eleven months ahead of time as it is my home, and favorite, Disney Vacation Club resort.

    Disney Vacation Club will sell memberships with the "older" properties as home resorts; however, this is based on availability of points at these properties.  As you can imagine, there may be fewer vacation club points available at some of the properties which have been around for a while rather than the newer ones.  The best way to determine if the resort that you are interested in has availability is to call and speak to a Disney Vacation Club Guide by calling 1-877-382-7826.  When you call, you can ask your Disney Vacation Club Guide if there are points available at Disney's Wilderness Villas or Disney's Beach Club Villas, since those are the resorts that you are interested in for your home resort.
