Hey Howdy Hey Allison and welcome to planDisney!
The fall at Walt Disney World Resort is such a great time to visit. I love walking down Main Street U.S.A. and seeing all of the fall decorations that are up giving Magic Kingdom a true fall feel. Thank you for your question about
Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween Party in Magic Kingdom. Let's talk about this!
One of the big perks to attending after-hours events such as Mickey's Not-So-Scarry Halloween party is having the ability to attend with reduced crowd levels. I would not count on any additional tickets to be sold for this party for this reason. Last year was a different story due to the change in capacity limitations with COVID-19 considerations but is not something that usually happens. I would encourage you to keep checking but also start planning for what to do that night instead of the party.
One of my favorite things to do to get the feel of what is going on in Magic Kingdom without having to actually be there is taking a trip over to
Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. Only a short monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom but so much to do and see! Grab a Dole Whip from
Pineapple Lani and find a seat on the beaches of the Polynesian where you can see Cinderella Castle. This will give you a great spot to view
Disney's Not-So-Spooky Spectacular nighttime fireworks show in Magic Kingdom. The music is piped in and the views from the beach are spectacular!
The other option you have is to head on over to the other seasonal festival going on in EPCOT. You can close out the evening with
EPCOT International Food and Wine Festival if you have the Park Hopper option on your day ticket or spend the whole day in EPCOT. The Food and Wine festival is a celebration of seasonal treats throughout the park as well as top-notch entertainment with
Eat to the Beat Concert Series on most nights. This fun festival has so much to do, experience and eat that it will take you some time to experience it all.
Allison, I know this was not the news you were hoping for, but I know you will still be able to have a Magical time on your next trip. Best of luck as you continue to plan for your trip and if you have any further questions please feel free to reach out and let us know, we would be happy to help!
Have a Magical Day,
Nick
