What other Disney entertainment is there outside the parks...without tickets.

It's great to see you here today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Sylvia!

One of my favorite things to do during my Walt Disney World Resort vacation is to spend a day hanging out outside of the Theme Parks. I always make sure to save a day of my trip for checking out a few Resort Hotels and Disney Springs, so let's chat about some of the things that you can do if you don't have a ticket for the day!

If you enjoy meeting Disney Characters then you're going to find plenty to do outside of the Theme Parks. There are quite a few Resort Hotels that offer Character Dining experiences that don't require Theme Park admission! The classic favorite that everyone loves is Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort where you can meet the Fab Five all in one place. You can also meet Lilo, Stitch, Mickey Mouse, and his pal Pluto at breakfast at 'Ohana at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. If Disney Princesses are at the top of your list then you should think about making reservations for the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno at Disney's BoardWalk Inn! I always want to try the newest and most exciting things at Walt Disney World Resort so the brand new Character Dining experience, breakfast at Topolino's Terrace - Flavors of the Riviera at Disney's Riviera Resort, is probably what I'm going to book for my family next. Advanced dining reservations are highly recommended for all Character Dining meals, so check out the My Disney Experience app to find a restaurant that has tables available for your trip this week!

If you already have all of your dining booked, you should check out Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long at The Campsites at Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. You can roast marshmallows, make S'mores, sing campfire songs, and also have the chance to meet everyone's favorite chipmunks. They also show a movie after the Sing-A-Long each night, so bring along your cozy clothes or a blanket and hang out under the stars!

    Have a magical day, Sylvia!

I'm a personal stylist and I live in Texas with my husband and our three rescue animals. We are Disney Parks-obsessed and love enjoying all the magic that's out there especially for grown-ups. In fact, we even opted out of a tropical honeymoon to spend a blissful week at Walt Disney World Resort instead! I'm thrilled to be on the planDisney Panel and I'm excited to share everything I've learned from all of our trips and help you plan a memorable family vacation.  Learn More About Jessica
