Hi. We will be at Disney at the end of Sept w/ 2.5, 3.5, and 4.5 yr old children. How long does it take to get through each park? Our dining reservations make it hard to do morning and night at the park with a nap inbetween w/o cutting into hrs at the park

    Hello Monica,

It's so difficult not to want to see and do everything while at Disney. But there's just so much to each Theme Park. I've been to Disney several times and there are still many attractions and shows I have not yet experienced. But that's the beauty of Disney World - there's so much to it!

I think you need to go into your vacation knowing you may not be able to do it all. But that's o.k. because there's so much outside of the Theme Parks as well. How long it takes to tour any one Park depends on how quickly you can tote the kids from attraction to attraction. The Parks also range in size. And you may find you want to spend more time in some Parks like Magic Kingdom because it has more to interest your little ones.

With children their ages, I think you will be able to sneak in all of the big attractions around nap time and your dining reservations. If you are staying on property at a Disney Resort, consider taking advantage of Extra Magic Hours. If the kids are ready to go after a midday break, you can head back to the Park and stay a little later. After all, it's vacation, so let everyone stay up one night!

I would definitely plan to have at least one day for each Theme Park. Then just let the kids help decide the pace of your vacation. It will make it magical - and less stressful - for you!

    Good luck!

My family loves our Main Street in Ohio. But there's simply no comparison to Main Street U.S.A.! We don't get to Disney quite as often as I'd like, but that just means finding new ways to sprinkle Pixie Dust on our adventures! Learn More About Monina
