Going to Disney end of March. Haven't been in almost 8 years. It will be my Husband, 13 year old son and my energetic 70 year old parents. Wondering if Animal Kingdom is a full day park? Thx

    Hi Zita!

Disney's Animal Kingdom has always been a great park, but with the new additions, it's even better now!  My husband and I typically keep a pretty quick pace at the parks, so in the past, we have been able to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours and do everything we wanted to do in Disney's Animal Kingdom by lunchtime.  We would go on all of the rides and walk the trails before leaving.  Now, with the addition of Pandora - The World of Avatar, I think we will need to spend more time there than normal to really appreciate everything in the park!

Not only are there new attractions and new amazing foods to try, but now you can also stay in Disney's Animal Kingdom after dark, which gives you a whole new experience!  If you are there after dark, make sure to check out Rivers of Light and Tree of Life Awakenings.  I think that if you want to really explore Disney's Animal Kingdom, you could absolutely spend the entire day there.  That being said, if you just want to see a few highlights and then go to another park, I think it is possible to do so if you take advantage of Extra Magic Hours and FastPass+.

Have a Great Big Beautiful Tomorrow!
