Can we use Disney electronic gift cards at Disney World quick service restaurants?

    Hey there, Lindsey!

A warm welcome to planDisney and thanks for bringing us an excellent Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning question. I'm thrilled to hear you'll be making the trip to The Most Magical Place on Earth in just a short couple of days! I'm always happy to help a fellow Michigander with their Walt Disney World Resort vacation plans.

In my opinion, Disney Gift Cards are the best way to complete food and merchandise purchases during a Disney Parks vacation. I like to pick one up each time I visit the grocery store, combining their values on the Disney Gift Card website just before my trips! (Sometimes, you can even score great deals on these handy cards at stores like Sam's Club and Costco.) Lindsey, I'm happy to inform you that Guests may use Disney Gift Card eGifts at most Quick-Service locations throughout the Walt Disney World Resort! In the confirmation email in which you received the eGift, you should see a barcode - the Cast Members should be able to scan this code to redeem funds towards Quick-Service food purchases. Alternatively, you could save your Disney Gift Card eGift to your phone's mobile wallet and utilize the "Tap to Pay" functionality!

Speaking of Quick-Service dining, I'd love to share a few of my favorites with you:
    • Pecos Bill Tall Tale Inn and Cafe at Magic Kingdom Park serves up Tex-Mex favorites in a cozy Frontierland saloon. We love eating here in the afternoon and watching the parade floats drift by!
    • Sunshine Seasons at EPCOT features fresh, healthy fare in a climate-controlled environment. My favorite dish is the Oak-Grilled Salmon. It's absolutely delicious and offers great value!
    • Satu'li Canteen at Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park is tucked away in Pandora - The World of Avatar. Here, you can find unique and creative dishes with fresh flavors.
    • Capt. Cook's at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort has a menu filled with Polynesian-inspired meals and American favorites. My family raves about the Pulled Pork Nachos and Poly Chips!
Lindsey, I hope this information has been useful to you and I wish you an incredible Walt Disney World Resort vacation. If you have any additional questions throughout your visit, you're always welcome to revisit us here at planDisney! We're here to help you make the most of your time at The Most Magical Place on Earth.

    Warm wishes,

    Lauren
