Can you use Disney egift cards to pay for dining at restaurants in Disney World?

    Hiya Suzanne,

Welcome to planDisney! As you can imagine, I have a lot of experience with Disney Gift Cards. My love for the Most Magical Place on Earth means that I am gifted with at least two Disney Gift Cards for almost every single holiday and special occasion. But I don't mind; I save, combine, and use them to fund my next adventure!

In my experience, you can use a Disney e-gift card to pay for all purchases where Disney Gift Cards are accepted, including table service locations. I always like to let the Cast Member know before I order that I will be paying with an e-gift card so that they are prepared and ready to process it at the end of my meal.

So I know I mentioned combining Disney Gift Cards earlier, and I highly recommend doing so if you have multiple e-gift cards. While I have had to ask a Cast Member to use more than one Disney Gift Card to pay for a meal before, I found it much simpler to give them just one card (or barcode) instead. You can combine up to $1,000 on a Disney Gift Card at a time, and it is a quick process that makes managing your payment methods a lot easier!

I hope this was helpful, Suzanne! One last tip before you go, remember to add your e-gift card information to the Notes section of your mobile device. If you choose to use it for Mobile Food and Beverage Orders, you may have to enter the information manually each time. Having it in your notes allows you to copy and paste it and save precious time. Please let me know if I can help you with anything else for your upcoming vacation.

    Happy Planning!
