Hiya there, Andrea! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so glad you found us here in our cozy little corner of the internet. We're hard at work waving our magic wands and helping Guests make the most out of their Disneyland Resort Vacations! It sounds like that is exactly what you intend to do, so let me see how I can assist!
First of all, the answer to your question is yes! You can absolutely use a
Disney Gift Card or Disney eGift Card to purchase theme park tickets at the Disneyland Resort. Here's what you'll need to do. First, head over to the
Theme Park Tickets Page and make your selections for number of tickets, ticket type, date of your visit, starting park and add-ons. Once you've made it through those choices, you'll add the tickets to your cart and head to the checkout. On the checkout page, you'll fill out the "Guest Info" and "Delivery and Contact Info" sections, then move on to your payment method. In this section, check the box "Use A Disney Gift Card." Enter the number listed on your eGift Card and the EAN (Security Code), then finalize your payment.
Andrea, if there is one thing I know for sure, it's that technology is not always our friend! As much as it brought us some of our favorite characters, like Wall-E and Baymax, it still can be quite tricky to operate! If you're not a fan of the technical side of things and would prefer to speak to a friendly Cast Member to use your eGift Card for your ticket purchase, go ahead and call over to the
Ticket Services Line and watch as your wish is their command! Be sure to have your eGift Card handy!
With all that savings from using a Gift Card for your tickets, you will have plenty of wiggle room when it comes to making your trip even more magical. If you want to add a special touch to this trip, check out the
Enchanting Extras Collection. I love the offerings at
Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge, like building my very own lightsaber at
Savi's Workshop or programming and building a sidekick at
Droid Depot!
Have a magical day,
Ashley
