My Disney e-gift card tickets I bought on the Target app dont haves ticket number that I can link. How do I make reservations??

    Hi Olivia,

Welcome to planDisney! I'm so glad you stopped by with a question for us.

Though I'm a frequent Target shopper, I have yet to purchase theme park tickets using their app or website. I usually purchase directly from the Disneyland Resort or Walt Disney World Resort websites when it's time for my next visit since I'm able to make the necessary theme park reservations at the same time. However, it's certainly convenient to add tickets to your cart if you're already doing some online shopping for other essentials. Household goods, clothing, theme park tickets- definitely all essentials in my book!

I took a quick look and saw 2-day and 3-day tickets available online with options to visit 1-park per day or park hop, and even tickets that included Disney Genie+ Service. No matter which ticket option you decided on, you should have received an email after the transaction was complete. This email should contain a barcode that you can scan to link the eTicket to your Disneyland Resort Mobile App. To do so, navigate to the app's feature menu (☰) and select "Tickets and Passes." From there, select the option to "Link Tickets & Passes" and then click the "Open Camera" link to use your phone's camera to scan the ticket information. Once the tickets are linked you'll want to make theme park reservations for your travel dates. You can review the availability calendars depending on the type of ticket you purchased to make sure your preferred park is available on your desired date.

If you're still experiencing technical troubles you can always contact a Cast Member by phone for further assistance. They should be able to answer any questions about your specific ticket and provide additional support for linking them and making the required reservations.

Once you've gotten everything squared away you'll be on your way to your next adventure in the parks. There is so much magic in store next year, you're sure to get your ears on and have a "good, good, good, a good time" no matter when you choose to visit. Feel free to come back and see us again with more planning questions in the meantime.

    Magic and memories,
