    We will be at Disney in early April. We have an ADR at Chef Mickeys on April 1@ 4pm. We would like to ride the monorail from MK to the Contmeporary. I've heard it is closed at certain times right now and I'm wondering if we will be able to do it.

    We absolutely love Chef Mickey's at Disney's Contemporary Resort!!!  

    The reported times/dates for closure of the Express and Resort Monorails lines are from 11:30am-6:00 daily through the end of March.  Hopefully, the Monorail lines will be back open full time at the beginning of April for your trip!  

    If, for some reason, there are still closures, don't worry.  You can still walk from the Magic Kingdom to Disney's Contemporary Resort.  This is a very smooth and comfortable 15 minute walk (approximately.)  There is a dedicated walkway to the Contemporary.  You will just need to stay to the left as you head out to the Disney Transport Bus Locations.  We have walked it multiple times.  

    Sending you some extra Pixie Dust that the Monorail is back to it's full schedule for your trip!!
