We are going to Disney during Thanksgiving Holidays. Our daughter is 6 yo and is very tall Im not even sure she will fit in one. At what age should we NOT bring a stroller? Im afarid she might get tried and will need to rest. Thanks for your help!

    Hi Kim,

Our son was almost six the first time we went to WDW and didn't use a stroller. This was a huge milestone since we had been using one at the Disney parks since he was 2. Earlier in the year, when he just turned 5, he still needed the stroller to get us through the day.

We took a lot of breaks to sit down on benches to rest his legs. He was a premature baby and for a long time he lacked the stamina of his peers. Your daughter will likely do just fine without the stroller.

I would go without it and if it becomes necessary, rent one. Does she use a stroller at home? Whether she does or not, I would suggest that you begin walking around your neighborhood at home. When my family is used to walking at home, we have a much easier time navigating the parks. We try to take walks after dinner so that our legs and feet don't give out on us while touring the WDW parks. Just consider it another pre-planning WDW tip! Don't forget to pack very comfortable shoes too!

Best wishes to you for a magical holiday vacation in Disney!
