Hi! I will be in Disney during the month of June. I have a family of 4 and I was interested in the 2010 Magic your way plus dining. I have heard from several different people to do the dining plan. Is it really worth it and should I purchase it?

    HI Kimberly!

Unfortunately, I can't answer your question because I don't know how you like to dine and what items you or your family members might select off of a particular menu.  However, I can give you some advice.

Some guests save a lot of money by using a Dining Plan.  Other guests don't save as much and some actually spend more by being on a Dining Plan.  You can get more information on the various plans here.

I suggest looking at the menus for the various Quick Service and Table Service restaurants at the independent website AllEars.Net.  They do a very good job of keeping their menus up to date.  You can then compare the cost of being on the Dining Plan to not being on it.

Regardless of whether you decide to go with a Dining Plan or not, be sure to make an Advanced Dining Reservation (ADR) for any Table Service restaurants you are interested in.  ADRs can be made up to 180 days in advance.  Walt Disney World has some great places to dine and many of them book up very fast.  Reservations can be made on-line here.

    Have a magical vacation!
