    We will be in Disney during the first Star Wars weekend We are "scheduled" to go to HS on Friday May 17. We are not str wars fans. Will the other parts of the park be very crowded? Should we try to go another day? Will we be able to avoid SW

    Hi Rachel,

    To be perfectly honest with you, if you are not Star Wars fans, I would plan to avoid Hollywood Studios on Star Wars Weekend. This is especially true for opening weekend, May 17 - 19. Is there any way to rearrange your schedule to be there on the 16th instead? Star Wars Weekend is incredibly popular and the entire park is historically quite crowded during those dates.

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but it is better to be prepared.
